Size Does Count

What do you look for in a purse?  I personally don't have the luxury of buying high end purses off the rack any day of the week.  I do shop a lot.  I like to look.  As I said before, you never know what you are going to find at a second hand store.  My dear sweet husband understands my hobby.  If I don't find anything it is not a matter to get upset.  You live to shop and find another day.  There have been some deals I walked away from and regretted it.  I have also walked with a purse thinking, "Why did I do this?" I think it becomes easier if you have a style that you appreciate more than others.

I love tote bags.  However, logistically, they are a bigger bag.  With bigger bags, you tend to put more stuff in it which in turn messes up the strap.  Don't stuff your bags!  Look at the core stuff you like to carry.  Some people who change out bags often use a small bag to transfer their stuff from bag to bag.  I don't do that and I haven't tried it.  I may have to try it and then let you know. In any case, know how much you have and then look at how much bag you need.  I like sunglasses and I carry sunglass cases.  Some of them are bigger than others so they take up more of the bag. I often have to empty out my wallet of change because change takes up a lot of room.  Receipts, I have a box I just empty them out into.  I have this one Juicy Couture purse (It's beautiful!) that is very heavy when it is empty.  When I put my stuff in it it is heavier than some luggage I have carried.  I definitely don't want to make the bag heavier with more junk in it.  I had this one bag that just held everything.  I had to configure the items into the bag to make it all fit.  One day, in a rush, I had to take something out from the bottom and I messed up the configuration.  Then I couldn't put everything back in.  (I was in a bank and there was a long line.  The natives were getting restless behind me.)

I don't usually like crossbody purses.  I like carrying purses on my right side.  I like shoulder bags and elbow bags.  I love elbow bags but they can be a pain and they can hurt if they are too heavy.  I look for medium size bags.  Since I have a lot of bags, I can afford to be picky when I am hunting.  I save the bags that are not my particular style for someone else.  I couldn't resist the sweet Fendi that I found rummaging.  I know that you are going to ask me how I know if it is real.  It's real and I love it. I haven't been getting many comments but I'm gong to ask anyway: What kind of purses do you prefer?  Any pictures?
