My Big Purse Problem

Kate Spade.  You should know that I love her stuff.  She has such cute high end stuff.  It's really inventive.  In fact, I was discussing this with someone recently before I got into some really big purse problems... but this is a story for another day... What does it say when you wear a Kate Spade purse?  In fact, what does any purse say?  Do your purses talk for you?  When you see someone with the LV logo, what are you thinking about that person?  What does that say about us that we want to be thought of a certain way?  Is it narcissism?  Is it vanity?  Why wouldn't any old label do? Yes, I have bought a fake thinking it was real.  I know a lot of people that sell purses online and I must admit that I am always tempted to put in an offer.  Here's the problem.  When it comes to purses, I am a kinesthetic person.  I want to touch.  I want to look.  I love leather hand bags.  The one that I found above is the one that I am using now.  You should know that I find a lot of my bags at second hand stores.  Now, I don't know where you live and how you live but as I mentioned before, I'm not rich.  This means that I have to get my purses somewhere.  Yard sales, consignment stores, and secondhand stores are good opportunities to upcycle a purse.  I like to think of it as rescuing them. Okay so, this is not so much about the beautiful purse that I rescued but about rescuing the purse. I love purses.  Some would call them handbags.  It's a problem.  At times I look in my closet.  I have my favorites in there.  I acknowledge that it is overwhelming.  I have a problem.  I am a purse addict.  I don't think I am going to stop any time soon and I don't want to stop.  It is an interest.  A friend of mine told me that I should quit my job to work as a salesperson selling purses.  It made me pause and wonder if I could.  If I was rich, I would.  I think I would even open a purse store.  I enjoy purses.  My favorite are designer leather purses.  No, I don't have an Hermes... yet.  I'm an ordinary middle aged woman of mid range to even lower mid range economic status.  I am not rich.  I am not wealthy.  I am not even comfortable when it comes to money but I do like purses.  I like purses a lot.
